Responsibilities
- Maintain infrastructure inventory levels to support build and repair activities.
- Receive parts and maintain inventory.
- Check-out parts as needed to Data Center Technicians and Engineers.
- Load and unload shipments and transport computer/server parts between different locations.
Requirements
- 0-2 years experience in a warehouse / distribution environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
- Must be able to lift loads of up to 49 pounds and carry them for short distances.
- May participate in group lifts of 50 pounds or more.
- Willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Perform physical tasks all day without becoming overly tired.
- Push or pull heavy objects into position.
- Work in a noisy environment.
Qualifications
- Experience using Inventory Management Systems (preferred).
- Understands inventory control methodology (preferred).
- Demonstrated positive work attitude & leadership skills (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to perform above minimum for extended periods of time (preferred).
- Commitment to a culture of safety (preferred).
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) (preferred).
Physical / Environmental Demands
- Requires standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods of time.
- Typically work is in an office environment where the noise level is low to moderate.
- Occasionally work is in a warehouse environment where the noise level is loud.
- Occasionally assist in loading and unloading shipments.
- Occasionally exposed to extreme cold or hot weather.
Work Environment
- Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts.
- Noise level varies and can be loud.
- Temperature between 60 and 90 degrees, and will occasionally exceed 90 degrees.
