Logistics Specialist

What You’ll Do:

• Cook up inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, material handling, and warehousing activities.
• Assist in crafting and putting into action logistics strategies designed to cut costs, boost efficiency, and guarantee prompt deliveries.
• Keep a close eye on inventory levels to ensure precise stock management, minimize holding expenses, and maintain material accessibility.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to facilitate seamless production and material flow throughout the plant.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to negotiate rates, oversee contracts, and settle any logistical issues.
• Analyze logistics data to pinpoint areas for process enhancement and support ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Earn your stripes in compliance with all pertinent safety, regulatory, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.

What You’ll Bring:

• A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred (equivalent experience will also be considered).
• Bilingual fluency in Mandarin and English (verbal and written) is preferred due to international communication needs.
• Two to four years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, especially in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• A solid grasp of logistics processes, including transportation, inventory management, and warehousing.
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities, capable of analyzing data and making data-driven decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating across departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with logistics software or ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus).
