Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists Director of Sales with annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives.
- Implements and executes Sales policies and practices.
- Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis.
- Manages multiple channel selling strategies.
- Trains, develops and manages a team of new and tenured National Sales Representatives.
- Assists with company marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services.
- Assists the Director of Sales with the analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
- Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other National Sales accounts.
- Aids in the planning and development of the company marketing and communications materials.
- Maintain awareness of customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to the Director of Sales.
- Provides recommendations for the optimal deployment of National Sales personnel, changing roles, coverage models, and/or team configurations in order to maximize sales productivity.
Education & Experience
- Four year college degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum three years of sales or sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
- Minimum three years in a sales operations, business planning, or sales support management role.
- Experience successfully managing analytically rigorous corporate initiatives.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
