Logistics Payment Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking a Logistics Payment Specialist to join their team in the Logistics Operations Department supporting the logistics billing and payment processes.

About the role

• Review and verify freight invoices for accuracy and compliance with contracts and agreements.
• Process freight and accessorial invoices using internal systems to ensure timely payment.
• Reconcile freight invoices with shipment records and resolve any discrepancies.
• Communicate with carriers and vendors to address and resolve billing issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve invoice processing procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Logistics, Planning, or Manufacturing Operations (can be from intern/co-op experiences).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay

$30 - $33 hourly

Schedule

Hybrid: 3 days a week onsite (Hoboken, NJ)
6-month contract (extensions possible)
