Logistics Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage a Logistics team that aims to deliver quality products in a timely, cost-effective manner.
• Optimize use of all available resources by ensuring trailers and containers are cubed efficiently by coordinating available backhauls of used vehicles.
• Ensure on-time and complete deliveries and communicate shipment activity to internal and external customers.
• Create and interpret reports that outline the status of inbound and outbound freight.
• Cookordination schedules and shipment preparation with operations and shipping personnel.
• Review and approve freight invoices for shipments.
• Assist operations with finished goods inventory accuracy and analysis.
• Assist Logistics team members with daily tasks as needed; to include, but are not limited to: load building, invoicing, and customer support.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business management, logistics, finance, or another related field required.
• Years of Experience: 5 or more years of experience, experience working in manufacturing support areas preferred.
• Software Knowledge: Microsoft office suite and SAP requirred.
