About the role
Plans, coordinates, and monitors inventory logistics operations such as warehousing, inventory, transportation, and distribution of customer retreads. The goal is to manage the entire retread transportation cycle to enhance business development, ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction. Border Tire is all things tire. Responsibilities
- Work closely with and assist Senior Retread Plant Manager.
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service.
- Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost.
- Direct, optimize and coordinate retread orders.
- Keep track of raw casings and new product stock.
- Receiving the retread rubber into to ADaM.
- Accurately process all invoices through Accounts Payables.
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
- Work closely with and assist Store Managers and Commercial Tire Consultants on searching for customer casings, inter-company transfers and picking-up large orders from local manufacturers.
- Manage casings and retread inventory for Eastbay Tire, CRST/Gardner, Smith & Son Tire and Kroger.
