About the role
In this position, you will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist to direct, develop, implement, or function as part of a logistics management operation for an organization involved in providing logistical support to a new program, fielded system, modification, or replacement program.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain & maintain a Security clearance
- The employee may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty
- Must be a current 448 SCMW federal employee
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing.
- Master knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply this knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.
- Extensive knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based logistics, acquisition, supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with accuracy, and maintain good working relations with all individuals and organizations.
- Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues.
- Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.
- Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.
Pay
Salary range: $89,508 - $138,370 per year.
