Responsibilities
- Designing material handling equipment utilizing AutoCAD
- Leading project installation, vendor assessments, procurement, flow analysis, and ad-hoc projects
- Working with DC business partners to address operational concerns
- Improving existing systems and procedures, increasing efficiency, adding capacity, and resolving problems
- Developing short and long-term capital strategy to support DC volume growth
- Coordinating all aspects of each assigned engineering project from inception through the final stages of the project
- Investigating "groundbreaking" technologies to evaluate their applicability to TJX Companies
- Mentoring Project Engineers and leading special projects, where needed
- Leading capital projects up to $100 million or more in total cost
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial or Mechanical)
- 6+ years’ of Engineering & Project Management experience
- Experience with material handling systems
- Distribution Center/Retail experience preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD Design
- Understanding of work methods analysis
- Detail oriented, strong organizational and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to balance multiple projects and changing priorities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Project Management experience leading teams
- Negotiation/influencing skills and strong communication skills

Pay
Starting salary range: $104,800.00 to $136,200.00 per year.
Schedule
Travel is required.
