Responsibilities

  • Designing material handling equipment utilizing AutoCAD
  • Leading project installation, vendor assessments, procurement, flow analysis, and ad-hoc projects
  • Working with DC business partners to address operational concerns
  • Improving existing systems and procedures, increasing efficiency, adding capacity, and resolving problems
  • Developing short and long-term capital strategy to support DC volume growth
  • Coordinating all aspects of each assigned engineering project from inception through the final stages of the project
  • Investigating "groundbreaking" technologies to evaluate their applicability to TJX Companies
  • Mentoring Project Engineers and leading special projects, where needed
  • Leading capital projects up to $100 million or more in total cost

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial or Mechanical)
  • 6+ years’ of Engineering & Project Management experience
  • Experience with material handling systems
  • Distribution Center/Retail experience preferred
  • Experience with AutoCAD Design
  • Understanding of work methods analysis
  • Detail oriented, strong organizational and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Project Management experience leading teams
  • Negotiation/influencing skills and strong communication skills

Pay

Starting salary range: $104,800.00 to $136,200.00 per year.

Schedule

Travel is required.
