Primary Role and Responsibilities
- Design logistics flows and determine the means required for efficient execution.
- Lead the methods portion of new project deployments, including activity transfers and process optimization.
- Support the rollout of new or modified logistics operations across Daher locations.
- Create and maintain clear work instructions, procedures, and documentation.
- Manage project timelines, proactively engage and challenge stakeholders, and ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Cook up regular project progress communications to internal leadership and customer counterparts.
- Promote a mindset of innovation by engaging with emerging technologies-including automation and AI-in line with company policy.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze logistics performance and identify areas for improvement in quality, speed, and cost.
- Conduct operational audits and logistics studies to inform smarter decision-making.
- Contribute to logistics investment plans and ROI analysis for new initiatives.
- Implement Daher's SeeD methodology to foster a culture of structured improvement.
Collaboration & Culture
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with operations teams and customers.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering and project teams across North America and Europe to share best practices, benchmarks, and lessons learned.
- Participate in internal and customer meetings, project reviews, and planning sessions.
- Demonstrate our core values through everyday leadership, teamwork, and communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Industrial or Engineering discipline preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics material flow, warehouse layout, or operational logistics.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Clear, concise communicator with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed to support global initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in 3PL or in-house logistics within industrial or retail environments.
- Background in warehouse design, layout, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD (2D) and macro tools for process visualization and automation.
