About the Role
Be a vital player for Ryder, a Fortune 500 company known for its innovative supply chain solutions. This role involves leading, coaching, and mentoring engineers to develop innovative solutions, manage projects, and implement efficient and competitive solutions.
Responsibilities
- Create presentations and conduct meetings to develop and sell solutions.
- Define the problem, organize, and manage the complexity of opportunities, and plan/manage projects and deliverables.
- Obtain necessary resources and apply them efficiently and effectively to the development of solutions.
- Participate in strategic planning for the organization and identify and participate in the testing of tools and techniques that enhance organizational competency.
- Recruit and develop team members, including LMs and Directors.
- Identify best practices and recommendations, and implement plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of relevant logistics experience.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in one of the RIL Engineering competencies or a master’s degree with 4 years relevant logistics experience.
- 5+ years of experience in one of the target market industry segments or a master’s degree with 4 years relevant logistics experience.
- Advanced knowledge of integrated logistics, transportation, distribution, customer service, information technology.
- Advanced knowledge of computer tools: spreadsheets, databases, graphics, word processing, mapping, routing and scheduling, facility layouts.
- Practicing knowledge of sales process.
- Knowledge of Ryder operations and related systems.

Pay
$90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year based on experience.
Schedule
1st shift: Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (Hybrid, 1 day a week in the Novi office).
