What You'll Do
- Schedule pick-ups with vendors and monitor shipments in transit.
- Correctly label hazardous materials and provide DG paperwork to vendors.
- Provide all required shipping documentation (Commercial Invoice, Letter of credit, Ocean Bill of Lading, Service Report Log, etc.) for import and export functions.
- Process and correct miscellaneous shipment cost issues.
- Manage time-critical deliveries through delivery.
- Build and grow relationships with internal customers and vendors.
- Build and grow relationships with Channel Partners and their carriers.
- Efficiently collaborate with stakeholders and implement changes as needed.
- Contribute to a worldwide logistics organization by standardizing processes and establishing SOPs.
What You'll Bring
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
- Dangerous goods trained or certified preferred.
- Attention to detail and well organized.
- Strong time management skills.
- Communication skills (written and oral).
- Ability to work well with others.
- Works well with deadlines.
- Understanding of transportation limitations and regulations.
- Flexible schedule (may work some off hours).
- Transportation limited (may visit service centers).
