Core Responsibilities
- Cook up and optimize daily delivery schedules and multi-stop route planning for our in-house white-glove delivery fleet and third-party carriers across NY, NJ, and CT.
- Act as the primary point of contact for retail and Trade clients to schedule final home installations, clearly communicating window timelines, arrival protocols, and site preparation requirements.
- Track international and domestic freight shipments from manufacturing partners to the warehouse, proactively identifying, flagging, and solving transit delays.
- Review inbound delivery manifests against our e-commerce platform and inventory management systems to ensure custom configurations match arriving inventory exactly.
- Handle transit exceptions in real-time, working closely with the warehouse team on freight damages, missing hardware, or delivery obstacles, and initiating carrier freight claims when necessary.
- Partner daily with Showroom Managers and Trade Account Executives to provide precise order statuses, enabling transparent updates for high-value clients.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in logistics coordination, fulfillment, supply chain, or dispatching roles.
- Previous experience within e-commerce, home furnishings, or luxury retail environments is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with routing software, warehouse inventory modules, or ERP systems.
- Comfort navigating Shopify backend data or CRM platforms such as Salesforce is highly desirable.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor suited for navigating high-end residential clients and business partners.
- Strong spatial and analytical skills to resolve scheduling conflicts, delivery exceptions, and unexpected route variables on the fly.
- High level of accuracy in checking item SKUs, custom fabrics, dimensions, and cross-referencing logistical documentation.
