Roles And Responsibilities
- Tracking inventory maintenance
- Controlling flows of equipment and supplies
- Coordinate the receipt, offloading, inspection, and storage of incoming materials and equipment at the project site
- Verify shipments against delivery documentation (packing lists, purchase orders) and report discrepancies or damages immediately to the logistics supervisor and logistics manager
- Maintain accurate inventory records of all materials and equipment on-site
- Coordinate with laydown yard personnel to ensure proper staging and distribution of materials
- Ensure all handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, rigging) is available and ready for use when needed
- Ensure all logistics operations comply with site safety protocols and environmental requirements
- Reporting to management and advising on problems, obstacles and challenges in the field
- Receive material into company database (CMIC) and Procore Daily Log
- Must be willing to travel in or out of state for logistical labor support if needed
Work Environment
- Ability to work in extreme environments, cold, winter weather, hot sun
Physical Demands
- Stand for long periods of time
- The work can be physically demanding, and coordinators may be required to lift and move heavy objects
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Previous experience in utility scale construction inventory, receiving and logistics, 1 to 2 years
- Knowledge of construction practices
- OSHA 10 preferred
- All-Terrain Forklift, skid steer, warehouse forklift Certification a plus
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Insurability, must have clean driving record, and valid drivers' license
- Ability to pass background checks and pre-employment and random drug screenings
