Logistics Coordinator
Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator will manage multiple steps of sales shipments and orders, specifically in Food/Meat categories. This role involves collaboration with sales representatives, vendors, and government departments such as customs to ensure products are shipped and received accurately. The role requires tracking information through internal systems and using Oracle, ensuring compliance with international regulations. Additionally, the coordinator will handle original documents for international tracking.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate sales shipments and orders for Food/Meat products.
- Collaborate with sales reps, vendors, and government departments to ensure accurate shipping and receiving.
- Track shipment and client information using internal systems and Oracle.
- Compile and use original documents for international tracking.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.
Essential Skills
- Administrative support experience.
- Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
- Strong detail orientation.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, customer service, inventory, and transportation.
- Desired experience in importing and exporting products.
- 2-3 years of experience in a related field or 1 year removed from college with a related degree (Business, Operations, Analytics, etc.).
- International shipping experience is a plus.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
