Logistics Compliance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Facilitates communication between Operations, Sales, Vendors and Customer Service to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain.
• Reviews all invoices out of tolerance for approval.
• Owns fixing root cause issues surrounding freight bill variances.
• Processes freight claims.
• Assists with LTL pricing loads/testing.
• Identifies and partners with Corporate Logistics Manager on cost savings and operational improvement opportunities.
• Ensures that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met.
• Utilizes the Transportation Management System to quote and route shipments in a cost-effective and efficient manner with an understanding of how pricing is loaded.
• Communicates and resolves service issues quickly and efficiently.
• Affords assistance with certain functions of freight optimization.
• Affords assistance on special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or similar field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in transportation planning, logistics, warehouse operations, or overall supply chain management.
• Distribution and warehouse operations experience a plus.
• Strong understanding of LTL pricing, LTL accessorials, and the claims process.
• Knowledge of OTR, LTL and Parcel shipment modes of transport and their operations required.
• Strong knowledge base of logistics, experience with TMS systems and the ability to learn new systems quickly required.
• Experience in outsourced Managed Transportation Programs. International logistics experience preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills with an emphasis on moderate to advanced Excel skills, and the ability to interpret and analyze reports.

Pay

The base pay range for this role is $65,000 – $75,000 per year.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role with required on-site attendance. Candidates must be able to commute to the designated work location. No relocation assistance will be provided.
