Permanent position based in Lincoln, NE.
Responsibilities
- Tariff classification of product for both import and export purposes
- Support and maintain Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operation and compliance program
- Prepare and compile reports for submission to various federal agencies
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulations
- Support the company’s CTPAT program, including overall supply chain risk analysis
- Analyze parts and finished goods for free trade agreement eligibility (USMCA, etc.)
- Analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to identify improvement opportunities
- Communicate with all levels of the organization, freight companies, customs brokers, government agencies, and suppliers to maintain a reliable supply chain
- Review and analyze trends and anomalies to identify supply chain improvements and communicate findings to appropriate individuals and entities
- Plan and/or conduct projects related to cost or compliance improvements
- Assist other departments with shipping or receiving transactions
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics, international logistics, and/or supply chain operations
- Focus on tariffs experience is preferred
- Industry experience in manufacturing, transportation, or similar fields
- Familiarity with foreign trade is a plus

Pay
$60,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
