Logistician II - Supply Chain Analyst

About the role

Battelle’s National Security Division seeks a Logistician II to support the Field Service Team (FST) in supply chain activities and inventory management for CBRND equipment and supplies. This role supports Marine Corps Systems Command and Logistics Command to sustain the Fleet Marine Force.

Responsibilities

• Assist CBRN Field Service Technicians with repair parts and consumables
• Transact in GCSS-MC and EMS to ensure 100% accountability of CBRND items
• Conduct inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
• Perform technical and causative research
• Manage inventory levels and conduct spot, cyclic, and annual inventories
• Submit commercial purchase and transportation requests
• Support specialized departmental goals with process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in Supply Chain Management
• Significant experience transacting in GCSS-MC
• Ability to lift 50 lbs in storage and warehousing tasks
• Secret security clearance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred
• Experience working on-site at government client locations
• Knowledge/experience with Marine Corps Supply/Inventory/Materiel Management processes and procedures
• Knowledge/experience with Enterprise Management System (EMS) and TDM-Catalyst
• Knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office applications, with moderate Excel skills
• Knowledge/experience with ELMS (previously DPAS)
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma

Full-time, on-site positions at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; Camp Pendleton, California; Albany, Georgia; and Okinawa, Japan (Camp Foster).
