Locums NP - Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery

About the role

We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) with RNFA first assist experience for a hospital-based role in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery settings. This dynamic position involves rounding, assisting in CVT surgeries, and clinic duties within a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Round on patients in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery settings
• Assist in CVT surgeries as a first assist
• Perform clinic duties
• Respond to call within 30 minutes
• Manage approximately 10-15 patient encounters per shift
• Obtain and maintain hospital privileges

Requirements

• Relevant PA licensure
• RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant) experience

Skills

• Strong clinical skills
• Surgical assisting proficiency
• Excellent communication abilities

Pay

Competitive hourly rates ranging from $110.00 to $125.00.
