Locum Veterinarian - Greater Austin Area, TX
About the role
Western Veterinary Partners is seeking a regional locum DVM to serve hospitals in Austin. Based on our current locations, this role will primarily serve small animal GPs in the greater Austin, Texas from Canyon Lake to Round Rock. This is a full-time relief position that is perfect for doctors who easily connect with diverse teams and would find fulfillment having a dynamic caseload. We're open to four-day or five-day scheduling (4-10s or 5-8s). There are NO weekend, emergency, or on-call services in this role.
Requirements
- Licensed DVM (or have the ability to become licensed) in Texas
- DVM/VMD from an accredited program
- Licensed (or eligible) in Texas
- 2+ years of clinical experience (3+ years preferred)
- Strong surgical, diagnostic, and communication skills
- Passion for high-quality patient care and client service
Hospital locations
This role will provide support to three small animal hospitals based in the greater Austin area. This includes Canyon Lake, Wimberly, Kyle, Lago Vista and potentially Round Rock.
