About the role

VCA Old Trail Animal Hospital is seeking a Relief Veterinarian to join their 3-doctor small animal practice in Glen Rock, Pennsylvania. The practice is known for its courteous and well-trained staff, who are looking for an ambitious and progressive associate to complement their client-oriented team.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of a variety of small animal patients under the supervision of licensed veterinarians.
• Assisting with surgeries and other procedures as needed.
• Performing routine check-ups and consultations.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Documenting patient care and treatment in electronic health records.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited school.
• Current Pennsylvania State Veterinarian license.
• Experience in small animal practice preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
