Locum Veterinarian - Greater Austin Area, TX

About the role

This role is a full-time relief position serving small animal general practitioners in the greater Austin, Texas area from Canyon Lake to Round Rock. There are no weekend, emergency, or on-call services.

Responsibilities

• Support three small animal hospitals in the greater Austin area
• Easily adapt to each hospital's culture and needs
• Work with diverse teams
• Have hands-on experience working with small animals

Requirements

• Licensed (or eligible) in Texas as a DVM (or VMD)
• At least 2+ years of clinical experience
• Strong surgical, diagnostic, and communication skills

Qualifications

• Core competencies in high-quality patient care and client service

Skills

• Adaptable to different hospital cultures

Pay

The salary range is primarily determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

The role is available on a four-day or five-day schedule (4-10s or 5-8s).
