Locum Veterinarian

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Locum Veterinarian to join our team. In this position you'll use your superior medical judgment combined with a high level of empathy, confidence and humility to build a loyal client base and heal pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and effective veterinary care to patients
• Develop and maintain a loyal client base
• Collaborate with a supportive team of veterinarians and staff
• Contribute to the clinical studies and intern/residency programs

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of employment
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Completion of an AVMA-accredited veterinary college

Skills

• Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Excellent customer service skills

Pay

The compensation rate per shift is $1300.00. (A VCA work week is defined as Sunday through Saturday.)

Schedule

VCA work weeks are defined as Sunday through Saturday.
