Role Overview
Seeking a Pediatric Surgeon for inpatient care in Tucson, AZ, with responsibilities including performing laparoscopic surgeries such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and Nissen fundoplication. The role involves head/neck surgeries (including thyroid), chest wall and pleural procedures, GI endoscopy, chest tube placements, and central line insertions.
Responsibilities
- Providing phone consultations
- Managing patient admissions
- Handling approximately two patients at a time
- Being on 24-hour call to support emergency and scheduled procedures
Qualifications
- AZ medical license (no IMLC required)
- Proficiency in EMR systems, specifically Epic
