Locum Tenens - Pediatric Surgery

This role involves providing inpatient pediatric surgical care in a hospital setting, with responsibilities including managing patient admissions, consultations, and surgeries. The surgeon will perform procedures such as laparoscopic surgeries, appendectomies, cholecystectomies, hernioplasties, Nissen fundoplications, head/neck surgeries (including thyroid), chest wall/pleural procedures, and GI endoscopies. Key duties also include inserting chest tubes, central lines, and PA catheters. The position requires Arizona license (IMLC) and proficiency with Epic EMR. The surgeon will handle 24-hour call shifts, conduct phone consultations, and see a small patient volume daily.
