Locum Tenens Neurosurgeon

Role Overview

A healthcare provider specializing in general neurosurgery with a focus on trauma, tumor, and VP shunt procedures, as well as comprehensive spine surgery including cervical, thoracic, and lumbar cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage 3-5 patients daily with 1-2 admissions, perform clinical duties, and provide call coverage with patient rounding.
• Perform ICP monitor placement and external traction procedures.
• Contribute to trauma and tumor surgeries, including spine cases.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in general neurosurgery, trauma, tumor, and spine procedures.
• Proficiency in ICP monitor placement and external traction techniques.
• Ability to handle patient management and collaborate with a healthcare team.

Additional Duties & Support

• Engage in a rotational schedule, with responsibilities including clinical hours and patient care.
• Access online portal for assignment details and time entry.
• Receive comprehensive support, including credentialing, privileging, housing, travel, and malpractice coverage, handled by the organization.
• Work with a dedicated recruiter to streamline all logistics and details.
