Locum Neurosurgeon

Role: Neurosurgery Physician Responsibilities: Provide acute neurosurgery coverage, including spine and cranial surgeries, with responsibilities such as performing one surgery per night, managing up to 20 patients with APP support, and handling adult patients aged 16 and over. Conduct consultations (up to 10 per shift) and participate in 7-night call rotations, including weekends and overnight shifts. Qualifications & Skills: Prior experience in acute neurosurgery is required, with competence in spine and cranial procedures. Strong clinical skills, ability to handle high patient volume, and flexibility for night shifts are essential. Key Duties: Cover neurosurgical cases, manage consultations, and provide expert care during assigned call shifts. Utilize online portal for assignment details and time entry, with support from a dedicated healthcare consultant.
