Locum Neurosurgeon

About the role

This role involves providing acute neurosurgery call coverage on an alternating schedule, including 7 night calls. Responsibilities focus on adult patients aged 16 and over.

Responsibilities

• Manage a maximum of 10 consults per shift with support from advanced practice providers
• Perform one surgery per night, primarily focused on spine and cranial procedures
• Handle complex neurosurgical cases
• Complete online documentation of assignment details and time entry

• Acute neurosurgery experience
• Proficiency in performing spine and cranial surgeries
• Clinical proficiency and readiness for demanding neurosurgical duties
