Locum Tenens Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Associate

Role Overview: This inpatient cardiothoracic surgery PA provides coverage in a CT-ICU setting, working on-site during day and night shifts with no call requirements. Responsibilities: Perform clinical procedures such as arterial line placement, central line placement, chest tube insertion, and intubation. Collaborate with on-site APP support staff, typically two during day shifts and one at night, to ensure coordinated patient care. Qualifications & Skills: No board certification or prescriptive authority required. Candidates should have experience with ICU procedures and be comfortable working independently in a high-acuity environment. Key Duties: Provide inpatient coverage, support the CT-ICU team, and manage patient care with established clinical resources. This role involves working on-site during scheduled shifts without any call responsibilities.
