About the role
Seeking a hospital-based cardiovascular surgeon for a locum tenens role with no call requirements.
Responsibilities
- Handling 10-20 patients per shift with an inpatient census of 30-40
- Performing 4-6 adult cardiovascular surgical cases daily
- Endoscopic vein harvesting, first assisting, and sternal closure
- Initial supervision for 3-4 months
Qualifications
- 4-5+ years of cardiac surgery experience or equivalent
- CVICU experience preferred
- Competence in adult cardiovascular procedures
