About the role

A locum tenens urgent care physician is needed in Pinon, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients from newborn to geriatric
• See 14 to 16 patients per day
• Work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch break
• Handle acute situations until a transfer arrives
• Utilize PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications

Requirements

• Must have current PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications
• Experience in same-day/walk-in clinics preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in emergency medicine or family medicine
• Arizona medical license

Skills

• Effective communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Knowledge of pediatric and geriatric care
