About the role
A Locum Tenens Urgent Care Physician is wanted in Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Treats all ages — pediatric (2 months) through adult (100+)
- Support ratio: 1.5 nurses per clinician
- Performs procedures such as suturing, I&D, splinting, and foreign body removal
- Advanced skills preferred — complex laceration repair, fracture management
- Treats 22 patients per clinician per day
- High-volume, walk-in urgent care clinic environment
- Works Monday through Friday from 8 am to 7 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm, 40 hours per week
- Requires hospital privileges
Qualifications
- Current Oregon medical license
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- At least 3 years of experience in an urgent care setting
- Advanced skills preferred — complex laceration repair, fracture management
Skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of emergency medicine and/or urgent care protocols

Pay
Compensation details are negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Monday through Friday from 8 am to 7 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm, 40 hours per week.
