Locum | Physician Pediatric Hospitalist

About the role

This position involves 24-hour call shifts from 8am to 8pm, 14 shifts per month. The hospitalist works in a hospital setting using EMR: MediTech. Level II nursery credentialing is required, along with NRP and PALS certifications. The role includes high-risk C-section deliveries, emergent intubations, and lumbar punctures.

Responsibilities

• 2-3 deliveries per day
• High-risk C-section deliveries
• Emergent intubations and lumbar punctures

Requirements

Level II nursery credentialing is required. NRP and PALS certifications are also required. No prior experience in a pediatric hospitalist role is necessary.

Qualifications

Must be board certified/board eligible in pediatrics. Experience in a hospital setting is preferred but not required.

Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and proficiency with EMR systems are essential.
