Responsibilities
- Rounding on unassigned patients with possible STEMI cases
- PTCA, stents, catheterizations, echocardiograms, stress tests, and electrocardiograms performed
- Nuclear and Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) procedures are advantageous
- Leave coverage with potential extension
- No admissions required during call
- Inpatient cardiology rounding and consults
Requirements
- 30-minute response time for beeper call coverage
- Experience with PTCA, stents, catheters, echo, stress, and EKG
- Nuclear and TEE are major advantages
- Comprehensive malpractice insurance, including tail insurance
