Locum | Physician Interventional Cardiology

About the role

This is an inpatient hospital-based, call-only Interventional Cardiology position. The schedule includes weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM with a 5 PM to 8 AM beeper call, and weekends from 24-hour beeper call coverage. The typical patient load is 6 to 10 patients per shift.

Responsibilities

• Provides interventional cardiology services in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Handles call coverage during weekdays and weekends.
• Assesses and manages patient conditions requiring interventional procedures.
• Collaborates with medical teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Board certification in Interventional Cardiology is mandatory.
• Guaranteed 8 hours of work per day.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited residency program in Cardiology.
• Experience in performing interventional procedures is preferred.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage high patient volumes effectively.
