Schedule

• 10 days per month – preference for stretches that include two weekends
• 9‑hour days plus night call for the full assignment duration
• Average 15 patients per shift (approximately 15 patients seen per 24 hours on call)
• Average 3 admissions per call and 5 phone consults per 24 hours

Responsibilities

• Inpatient‑only cardiology service with inpatient APC support
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), urgent inpatient catheterizations, and temporary pacemaker placements
• Manage STEMI cases, obtain stat echocardiograms, and provide electrophysiology (EP) call coverage
