Facility in Illinois Seeks a Locums General Surgeon
Peoria, IL
Monday – Friday: 8 am – 4:30 pm — no weekends or call
12 – 20 outpatient wound visits daily
1 – 4 outpatient HBO treatments daily
Outpatient wound care facility — 8 exam rooms and HBO suite
100% adult and geriatric population
HBO treatment oversight required
Wound debridements, compression therapy, wound vacs, I&D required
Alexander Certification required

Responsibilities

• Perform wound debridements
• Administer compression therapy
• Utilize wound vacs
• Incision and drainage procedures
• Oversight of HBO treatments

Requirements

• Alexander Certification required

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in general surgery
• Experience with wound care and HBO treatments preferred

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
