About the role
The Minnesota Facility is seeking a locum tenens general surgeon to cover 10-14 days per month on an ongoing basis. The role involves seeing 5-8 patients per day in the clinic setting and managing up to 2-3 emergency room admissions.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures including but not limited to colon and hernia surgeries
- Cover for an ongoing position
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Surgery
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science or related field
- Current Minnesota medical license
Qualifications
- Experience in general surgery preferred
- Excellent communication skills
