About the role
On call only coverage with 24-hour shifts.
1 – 4 patients per day plus 1 – 3 phone consults.
Fast-paced environment requiring high-pressure capabilities.
General surgery procedures including laparoscopic and breast surgery.
ATLS and ACLS certification required.
No trauma cases, adult patients only.
Ongoing weekend coverage potential.
Responsibilities
- Perform general surgery procedures including laparoscopic and breast surgery.
- Manage up to 4 patients per day and handle 1-3 phone consults.
- Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Ensure all procedures are performed according to standard protocols.
- Participate in ongoing weekend coverage as needed.
Requirements
- Board certification required.
- ATLS and ACLS certification required.
Qualifications
- Experience in general surgery preferred.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
