Locum Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery DNP

About the Role

We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) for an inpatient pediatric cardiothoracic surgery coverage role.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric cardiothoracic surgery care in inpatient and operating room settings.
• Cover day shifts and 24-hour shifts on a 7-on/7-off schedule.
• Serve as first call, with a call ratio of 1:2.
• Manage a low-volume patient load of children requiring specialized care.
• Exercise prescriptive authority in pediatric surgery and cardiac care.

Requirements

• Experience in pediatric surgery and pediatric cardiac care.
• Prescriptive authority is required.
• Ability to work independently in a hospital setting.

Schedule

7-on/7-off schedule with day shifts and 24-hour shifts.
