Locum Cardiothoracic Surgery DNP

Role Overview: This position requires a Cardiothoracic Surgery DNP to provide locum tenens coverage in inpatient and operating room settings. Key Responsibilities Perform cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including first assisting and rounding.Work on a night shift with a 24-hour call schedule, rotating every other week.Maintain clinical documentation using the EPIC EMR system.Possess prescriptive authority to fulfill clinical duties. Qualifications & Skills Experience in cardiothoracic surgery, with ability to handle a case load of approximately 1 case per day.Ability to work on-site and provide coverage for all ages.Strong clinical documentation skills and prescriptive authority. Additional Details: The assignment involves inpatient and OR coverage, with clinical responsibilities across a variety of patient populations. Credentialing is estimated at four to five weeks. This role offers a dedicated, seamless experience supported by credentialing services and a digital platform for assignment management.
