About the role

This is a float-pool position with a standard schedule of three 12-hour shifts (07:00–19:00) per week. The assignment begins 30 July 2026 and lasts 0 weeks, with scheduled coverage and no call required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat orthopedic conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions.
• Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
• Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and NP specialty.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on an NP specialty.
• Active, unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Michigan.
• National certification as an NP in a relevant specialty (e.g., American Academy of Nurse Practitioners).
• At least one year of clinical experience in an orthopedic or related specialty (preferred).
