Job Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions.
Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and NP specialty.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.

  • National certification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by a recognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy of Nurse Practitioners [AANP]).
