Schedule and Coverage

  • Start Date: 09-21-26
  • Length: 26 weeks
  • Shift Coverage: Scheduled + No Call
  • Shift Schedule: Standard 5, 8-Hour 08:00 - 05:00

About the Facility

Out-Patient Clinic

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with blood disorders and various cancers, including administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and other treatment modalities.
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients, including developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, managing side effects, and coordinating care with other specialists.
  • Consult with other physicians and members of the healthcare team on complex hematological and oncological cases.
  • Provide patient education about diagnoses, treatment options and disease management, to support informed decision-making.
  • Conduct regular follow-up visits to monitor patient progress, adjust treatments as needed and provide ongoing support.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school; residency training in internal medicine accredited by ACGME or AOA; fellowship training in Hem/Onc.
  • License & Certifications: Board certification in hematology and/or oncology by ABIM or AOBIM; active and unrestricted medical license in Ohio.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience providing care in a clinical setting preferred.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of Hem/Onc principles, treatments and procedures.
  • Excellent clinical judgment and the ability to make critical decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex information to patients, families and healthcare teams.
  • Expertise in performing and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Flexibility to adapt to new work environments and different medical teams.

Pay

$3800/day – $4000/day
