Summary Of The Role This position requires a board-certified general surgeon to provide comprehensive surgical services in an operating room setting. The clinician will offer 24-hour call coverage, managing both routine and emergency procedures, with a call ratio of 1:4. Responsibilities include performing surgeries, managing consultations, and documenting all patient interactions using the EPIC EMR system. The role involves a case load of approximately 20 RVUs per day and working alongside surgical PAs and techs. The clinician will serve a patient population of all ages and have prescriptive authority. Emergency privileges are available, with a credentialing process of 45-60 days. The position is on-site and does not involve government employment.
