About the role
We are seeking a qualified physician to provide coverage in a trauma surgery role for the adult population.
Responsibilities
- Performing laparoscopic surgeries such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernia repair.
- Conducting GI endoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, and colonoscopies.
- Managing trauma cases.
- Seeing approximately 5 patients per shift, with 2 admissions.
- Providing holiday coverage.
- Responding promptly within 30 minutes via call.
Requirements
- ATLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- Laser certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Scopes certification is a plus.
Qualifications
- Strong surgical skills.
- Trauma experience.
- Relevant certifications.
