Locum General Surgeon

Seeking a board-certified general surgeon for ongoing coverage in a facility with dedicated OR capabilities. Key Responsibilities Include Providing general surgery services with 24-hour on-call availability, managing both routine and emergency cases.Performing surgical procedures, managing consultations, and ensuring documentation in the EPIC EMR system.Supporting a patient population of all ages with a case load of approximately 20 RVUs per day.Collaborating with surgical PAs and techs in an on-site setting.Maintaining a 1:4 call ratio and possessing prescriptive authority. Qualifications And Skills Required Board certification in general surgery.Emergency privileges with a credentialing process of 45–60 days.Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment, handling both scheduled and emergent cases.
