About the role
GI hospitalist providing inpatient care with procedural duties.
Responsibilities
- Manage 14–16 inpatients daily
- Perform 5 elective procedures each morning (EGD and colonoscopy)
- Conduct inpatient consults and handle 4–8 new consults per weekday
- Provide patient care during weekday hours with lighter weekend duties
Requirements
- Hospital privileges required
- Proficiency in EGD and colonoscopy
- Strong inpatient and consultative skills
- Ability to manage a high patient volume efficiently
