About the role
Locum tenens opportunity in an inpatient setting with call coverage responsibilities. Assignments last 7–14 days with a call ratio of 1:3, seeing an average of 12 patients per 24-hour call period.
Responsibilities
- Perform Upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, PEG, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management
- Manage patient procedures and ensure quality care
Requirements
- Proficiency in endoscopic procedures and relevant medical skills
- Suitable for physicians, physician assistants, or nurse practitioners dedicated to locum tenens work
