The successful candidate will join the Division of Gastroenterology at Cooper Digestive Health Institute. The unit has a strong and well-established reputation for state-of-the-art patient care, teaching, and research.

Cooper University Hospital, located in Camden, NJ, is a Level III regional Perinatal Center and Trauma Center, with a formidable reputation for providing the highest quality of care. Cooper University Hospital is the region’s leading teaching hospital for Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU).

Easily accessible from southern New Jersey suburban locations and from Philadelphia via car or public transportation. New York City and the Pocono Mountain resort areas are just two hours away and only an hour away from the sought after Jersey Shore.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive clinical care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in the Division of Gastroenterology.

Participate in research activities related to gastroenterology.

Requirements

Candidates must possess an MD or DO license.

Candidates are required to have experience and expertise in clinical care and teaching.

License/Certification Requirements

  • Board certification in Gastroenterology or Internal Medicine.
  • Valid state of New Jersey Medical, CDS and DEA license.
