Locum Emergency Veterinarian

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Olympia, WA is seeking an experienced and adaptable Locum Emergency Veterinarian to support our team during high caseload shifts, including weekends.

About the role

You’ll play a crucial role in assisting our dedicated Emergency Veterinarians, ensuring exceptional care for pets during the busiest periods. This position offers a predictable monthly schedule with set days available for ER relief.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency veterinary care during high caseload shifts, including weekends
• Support the hospital’s Emergency Veterinarians in delivering quality pet care

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree
• At least three years of Emergency veterinary experience
• Valid state veterinary license
• Willingness to work during the busiest shifts, including weekends

Pay

• Day Shift: $2,200 per shift
• Overnight Shift: $2,400 per shift
